Where we are

By Car 


From Rome:

Take the A1 autostrada, south toward Naples until you reach the A3 autostrada, which you take south toward Salerno/Reggio Calabria. Exit the A3 Castellammare di Stabia always following the brown signs marked “Peninsula Sorrentina”… You then follow the ss 145 until you reach Meta which is about 44km outside of Naples.


From Reggio Calabria:

Take the A3 autostrada through Salerno, exit at Castellammare di Stabia and take ss 145 above toward the Peninsula Sorrentina.

From Bari: Take the A16 autostrada exiting at Avellino, to the A3 autostrada, entering at Salerno and exiting at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the ss 145 to the Peninsula Sorrentina.


From the Naples Airport (Capodichino):

Take the A3 autostrada (Naples/Salerno Reggio Calabria) to the Castellammare di Stabia exit and following the brown signs marked “Peninsula Sorrentina” taking ss 145 to Meta, a total of about 48 ams from the airports.

In all cases arriving by car you will enjoy panoramic vistas of the Sorrentine Peninsula and when you arrive in Meta you will find immediately the small square of “Madonna del Lauro”, dominated on your left by the large cathedral. A representative of Chez Chantal will meet you here to accompany you to the B&B to make your arrival as simple as possible.


By Train

If you arrive in Naples by train proceed to the Circumvesuviana Station and take the Napoli-Sorreno line. It will be a local train with many stops, and father about an hour you will arrive in the Meta station where our representative will meet you.


From Rome there are options to use public transportation. From the airport you can take a train directly to the principal Rome train station (Roma Termini). A train leaves the airports every half hour with no reservation necessary. From Roma Termini there are many trains to Naples, and if you like you can make an advance reservation for either the more economic regular train, or the super fast (70 minute) Eurostar. When you arrive in Naples follow the instructions above. From  the Rome train station Termini you can also take the “Marozzi” bus that departs at 7 am and 3pm for Sorrento, and you can easily request to exit at Meta where our representative will meet you.


If you fly into Naples it is easiest to take a taxi to the train station at  Piazza Garibaldi and follow the inscriptions above for the Circumvesuviana. However you can also take the bus “Curreri” from the Naples train station and you pay the driver directly. The bus goes to Sorrento at 9am, 11:30am, 1pm, 4:30pm and 7pm. The bus ride takes an hour and you can request to depart at Meta. you can also arrive from Naples to Sorrento on the hydrofoil/ferry boat. Take a cab from the airport or train station to the Naples/Sorrento dock area. Our representative will be happy to meet you at the dock in Sorrento.
